The first night we went out to dinner and Carter had a blast checking out all the neon lights in the restaurant, bopping back and forth between all of us and, of course, eating off all our plates. He was pooped by the time we got home so Uncle Matt took advantage and cuddled for a while.
On Saturday afternoon, we took in a double-header at the QC River Bandits game...and best of all, we took the game in, in-style, in a suite! It was quite the fun group of people! Thanks, Shannon, for the tickets...we had a great time!

Carter decided it was time to go around 7:45. He stood by the door and demanded, "Go! Go!" and then started dragging his diaper bag across the floor. He's definitely a kid who knows what he wants! (Also, check out his new River Bandits t-shirt in the photo below-he's a very loyal fan!)
I made him put his pjs on before we left because I knew he'd fall asleep in the car, so here he is in-between clothes chatting it up with Uncle Matt.
It was a great weekend-too short, of course, but weekends are only two days! Bummer. Can't wait to see you again sometime soon. Carter sure does love his Grandpa and Uncle!
