T & T's one year check-up

Took the babies to the doctor today...standard check-up. They are such little fatties compared to Carter that they seem HUGE to me, but they're really only in the 50% range.

Tristan:
23.2 lbs
29 inches
47 cm head

Tyler:
23 lbs
29 inches
47 cm head

I'm just sayin'...Carter weighed under 19 lbs at a year and was almost 30" tall. WOW! Kids can be so different...

Things Tristan and Tyler are doing at 1 year old:
waving hi and bye
saying hi (haaaaa) and bye (buh buh) when they feel like it
walking, running and climbing (like little monkeys...especially Tristan!)
playing peek a boo
clapping to "if you're happy and you know it"
clapping to any song
dancing to any music (the squat-and-put-your-hands-in-the-air dance)
they are responding to their individual names
will give kisses when they feel like it
go down for naps and night fully awake - no crying (most of the time)
still take a morning and afternoon nap and go to bed at 8 p.m.
Tyler sleeps through until 6:30 or 7
Tristan is up EVERY morning at 5 for a quick bottle...then back to sleep until 7
They LOVE their big brother. They laugh at everything he does.
They gave up all baby food about 6 weeks ago and have been on whole milk for about a month.
They still love their bottles (and will ask for a "bah bah")
We're working on the sippy cups, but it's slow for them (just like Carter)

That's about it. They are the happiest little guys you'll ever meet. Always in a good mood. Oh, and Tristan is Daddy's boy and Tyler is Mommy's boy.
