Flood of '08

Lots of people have been calling and e-mail wanting to know how the flooding has affected us. We're all fine with the exception of the Hoyt Family River House. It's underwater. We went out last night to take some pictures to share...
Here's what the side yard usually looks like...

There was about 4" of water left on the first floor last night...just stinky, dirty water. So much grime, you can see exactly where Carl's feet "washed" it away.

It's hard to see the water, because everything's reflecting off it because it's so still...and did I mention stinky?

Oh, our little lightpole all alone in the river and the docks look like they're just out there floating...it was really crazy to see!

You know I had to throw a cute picture of Carter in here. He just couldn't stay awake on the way home! Isn't he getting so big?
