Date with Finley/Boating/Party Duck/Tooth

Last Saturday night, Carter went on a date with Finley (and me, Carl, Finley's mom and dad, Heather and Brandon and Finley's brother Casey.) We went to a crazy place in the middle of no where...seriously...to have all-you-can-eat fish for super-cheap. It was a fun time and Carter and Carl sported their hawkeye gear because Iowa played Wisconsin that night. Notice in the picture below that Carter is grabbing Finley's shirt...whoa boy, not so fast!!!!!

Carter's very first time in the Mighty Mississippi. It was a bit cold, but he was a trooper!
He begged Daddy to let him drive the boat back to the River House, but Daddy said he'd have to wait until, at least, next summer. =)
That was fine with Carter. He decided to sleep on the way back anyway.

Happy First Birthday to Bella. (She's my friend at work, Minda's, daughter.) Of course, I dont' have a picture of the birthday girl, but I DO have a picture of Carter with her Grandma and Grandpa's pet duck. Seriously, they've had this duck for, like, three years and it's totally tame and plays with the kids. Carter LOVED touching her beak and feathers...

Here's a better picture of Carter's first tooth. Oh, and he's already getting another one. It broke through last night. WOW! He's getting so big, so fast!
