Carter's 2 week check-up

Carter is as healthy as a horse! We went to see Dr. Omar on Friday and he's growing perfectly. He's up to 7 lbs, 6 oz and is 20 7/8 in long. (Remember at birth, he was 6 lbs, 12 oz and 19 1/2 in long...and when we left the hospital, he weighed only 6 lbs, 6 oz.) That means I'm doing something right!!! I'm not even supplementing with formula at all...it's all mama's milk for this little pumpkin. Dr. Omar also said his lungs and heart sound good and his eyes look healthy, also. What a relief...for those of you parents out there, isn't is great to hear that you're baby is healthy and know that you're responsible for that health? Hooray.

Next appointment is on May 2, when he's two months old. This is the appointment that they'll tell me what percentile all his stats are in and they'll give him his first round of shots. Ugh.
