Our Handsome Little Man!

It's a BOY! We found out at about 10:45 a.m. this morning. He looked very handsome and he was very well behaved. (said our sonographer) He posed perfectly and all his body parts were there. His heart was beating (156 beats per minute) and his brain looked fantastic, too. He spread his legs wide open for us to see his "boy parts" and you'll notice in one of the pictures that he pumped his little fist in the air to say, "hello."
It was an amazing experience. Our sonographer was great and she answered all of Carl and my's questions. She even let us take pictures in the room! So, it was a great birthday present to Carl to find out he's having a little boy!

I'll explain the pictures a little:
1. His stomach is on the left and head on the right. He's looking straight up and he's trying to get his thumb in his mouth. See his hand above his face?
2. & 3. His stomach is on the left and head on the right. He's looking right at you...you can see his eyes.
4. Here is his profile again with his head on the right. You can see his little spine on the bottom left.
5. This picture shows his little "boy parts." His thighs are on each side and there's a tiny arrow pointing to his penis.
6. His head is on the right and he's holding up a fist above his stomach.
